About the Provider
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Mitchell provides medication management through a holistic and culturally-competent approach. By considering mental, physical, and social factors, he helps clients achieve mental wellness through lifestyle changes, and when needed, medication. He integrates complementary and alternative medicine with traditional western approaches, including yoga, meditation, and dietary/lifestyle modification. As a neurodivergent provider, he is more keen to understand the unique strengths and challenges of this population.
He believes in clear communication about treatment options and potential side effects, so you know what you can expect from your treatment plan. His goal is to help you feel empowered, regain control, and create lasting, meaningful change in your life. Mental health work can be challenging, feel daunting and overwhelming, and he’s here to support you on this journey!
He looks forward to understanding your story and collaborating with you and your healthcare team to build your personalized treatment plan. If you want a provider that takes the time necessary to fully listen and understand your situation, he may be a great fit for you. He allots 90 minutes per each initial evaluation to take the time necessary to develop a care plan that works best for you.

Our psychiatric care services are designed to help you manage a range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma-related disorders. We provide diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care with a focus on holistic and patient-centered care.
Medication Management
We offer expert guidance on medication use, ensuring that you are using your medication safely and effectively. We will work with you to understand your medication, manage any side effects, and adjust your treatment plan as needed.
Please note that for ADHD, the provider is not able to prescribe Schedule II medications, which include stimulants. However, non-stimulant options are available.
Remote Consultations
We understand that it can be difficult to fit appointments into a busy schedule. That’s why we offer flexible and convenient remote consultations. You can access our services from the comfort of your own home, at a time that works for you. Limited nights and weekend appointments are also offered.
Sliding Scale Self-Pay
We believe that everyone should have access to the care they need, regardless of their financial situation. That’s why we offer sliding scale self-pay options, making our services more affordable and accessible.

Cigna, Carelon, Aetna, Quest Behavioral Health, Ascension (SmartHealth), Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Optum, and United Healthcare.

As stated above, we truly want to understand our clients which is why we allot 90 minutes for initial evaluations and 30 minutes for each follow-up. Care plans are truly individualized targeting specific symptoms/neurotransmitters while also focusing on you as a whole person (cultural, mental, physical, and social factors). We believe in a collaborative model working with your other providers which can include but not limited to primary care and mental health therapists. We also offer a free 15-minute phone consultation.
